NEW YORK TIMES, Nov. 24, 1864  Among the front page column heads on the Civil War are: "GEORGIA" "Sherman's Successful Progress" "He Marches Triumphantly Through Georgia" "Complete Destruction in His Path" "Probable Fall of Macon" "Sherman's Cavalry Moving Upon Augusta" "Further Particulars" and more.
Page 4 has a: "Thanksgiving Proclamations - By the President Of the United States" signed by him in type: Abraham Lincoln. Also Proclamations by the governor & mayor.
Eight pages, never bound nor trimmed, a light damp stain at the center of the issue bleeds through to inside pages as well, a small hole to the 2nd leaf not affecting mentioned content, otherwise in nice condition.
