Certainly a terrific issue for display, as the front page features a large & screaming headline: "INVASION !" with various related subheads concerning the D-Day invasion of Normandy.
This is a damaged issue with major separation along the central fold that was archivally mended on page 2 which causes slight loss at the bottom of the headline. Another vertical tear also mended on page 2. Still a great issue for display as virtually no text is loss to front page. Incomplete issue containing 8 of the 16 pages of the 1st section only.
