THE OREGON STATESMAN newspaper from Salem, Oregon dated Aug. 14, 1945 See the photo for the front page with the banner headline in bold, red ink above the masthead proclaiming: "NIPS SURRENDER". As noted in the masthead this is a special "EXTRA" edition, also printed in red ink.
Complete in 8 pages, some minor chipping at at the top margin and minor staining to the bottom half.
