I suspect this to be an extremely rare item because there was really no reason to save it at the time.
Much on the very beginning World War II. Complete 1st section only with all 48 pages, rag edition in great condition.

background: August Dickmann was a German Jehovah’s Witness who became one of the first conscientious objectors executed by the Nazi regime during World War II. Born in 1910, Dickmann refused military service on religious grounds, adhering to the Jehovah’s Witnesses’ doctrine of neutrality and nonviolence. On September 15, 1939, shortly after Germany invaded Poland, he was executed by firing squad at Sachsenhausen concentration camp. His execution was intended as a warning to other conscientious objectors, particularly members of his faith, and marked the beginning of systematic persecution of Jehovah’s Witnesses who resisted conscription. Dickmann is remembered as a symbol of religious conviction and nonviolent resistance against the Nazi regime.
