The front page has a nice four column photo showing the 1926 Fitchburg High School boys basketball team with heading: "Fitchburg High's Undefeated Basketball Squad" (see images)
And the top of page 8 has a banner heading: "Fitchburg, With Reserves Playing Part Of Game, Trims Manchester" with subheads and box scores.
Probably only found in this Fitchburg publication, extremely rare as such.
Complete with 12 pages, light toning and very minor margin wear, generally very nice.

background: In March 1926, the Fitchburg High School boys basketball team from Fitchburg, Massachusetts completed one of the most remarkable seasons in early American high‑school hoops history under head coach Clarence N. Amiott and captain Lauri Myllykangas, finishing their schedule undefeated and earning an invitation to the National Interscholastic Tournament in Chicago; there they defeated a series of regional champions—including teams from Billings, Roswell, Nanticoke, Salem (South Dakota), and finally Fargo, North Dakota, 25–14—to be widely recognized at the time as the national high school champions of the United States despite not winning the Massachusetts state tournament, a postseason accomplishment that brought huge local celebration, school‑wide recognition, and community honors on their return home.
