A decidedly racist newspaper which began well before the Civil War & lasted a few years after. Each issue has front page reporting headed: "The Assassination Trial", which may well have a different slant on the reporting compared to more traditional newspapers.
Each is partially loose at the spine where once guillotined for microfilming, scattered tears, one issue is a bit close-trimmed at the spine. But otherwise in good condition.
