The front page has nearly a full column headed: "Laws For Louisiana", with the Louisiana Purchase having recently been consummated.
Page 2 has much from the District of Columbia concerning the problem with impressment of American seamen. Also a report beginning: "On Monday the Amendment to the Constitution respecting the election of a President and Vice President was reported to the House of Representatives..." with further particulars of what would become the Twelfth Amendment. Also a "Letter of the President of the United States to the Senate" concerning impressment of sailors, signed in type: Thomas Jefferson.
Four pages, some scattered foxing, nice condition.
