THE VILLAGE VOICE, New York, May 24, 1983  While this issue has all of the iconic articles typically found within its pages, none could be more polar-opposite then a review of U2's latest album, "Peace with Honor", and an article headed: "Hitler: Dead and Alive", yet both scream of a world under the crushing threat of annihilation - albeit one with a tinge of hope. See images for details.
The cover article is: "Life And Death On The Color Line - Racial Crisis in Bensonhurst", by Jeff Coplon.
Complete in 136 pages, tabloid-size, folded at the middle, wrinkling around the edges, but the content is in very nice condition.
Alert: Many issues of The Village Voice contain articles and/or photos which some consider offensive, and are certainly inappropriate for children. Please purchase with discretion.
Provenance note: This issue comes from The Village Voice's own archives, part of their in-house collection used to create their digital archive.
