This was one of just a few newspapers which printed "Confederate States of America" in the dateline.
A wealth of front page reporting on the siege of Charleston, and terrific to have such content in a Charleston newspaper: "Terrific Bombardment" "The Siege of Charleston" which takes over 1 1/2 columns; "More Correspondence Between Seymour & Lincoln" "The Cavalry Expedition Into Pennsylvania" "Rebel Depredations" and more.
Complete as a single sheet issue, wide, untrimmed margins, minimal foxing and a bit of light dirtiness, nice condition.
