The top of the front page has a four column headline: "M. DeLaGrange Outdoes Yesterday's Record Breaking" with related photo. (see images)
Surprisingly this issue is in good condition being from the "wood pulp" era. Very hard to find issues that are not totally fragile from this era in paper.
Complete with 8 pages, small library stamp within the masthead, some small binding holes and small piece torn away along the spine, generally nice.
AI notes: On September 7, 1908, French aviator Léon Delagrange made a notable flight at Issy-les-Moulineaux, near Paris, marking one of the early milestones in European aviation. Flying a Voisin biplane, Delagrange covered approximately 15.2 kilometers (about 9.4 miles) in 16 minutes and 30 seconds, setting a new European endurance and distance record at the time. His smooth and controlled flight demonstrated the growing reliability of heavier-than-air machines and helped inspire public enthusiasm for aviation across France. Delagrange, already known as a sculptor turned pioneering aviator, became one of the leading figures of early flight alongside contemporaries like Henri Farman and the Wright brothers.
