background: Super Bowl XXXII, held on January 25, 1998, at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego, marked a historic moment as the Denver Broncos defeated the defending champion Green Bay Packers 31–24, securing the franchise's first-ever Super Bowl victory. Led by veteran quarterback John Elway and powered by the relentless running of Terrell Davis, who was named Super Bowl MVP after rushing for 157 yards and scoring three touchdowns despite suffering from a migraine, the Broncos ended the NFC’s 13-year winning streak in the championship. The game was tightly contested, with both teams trading scores, but a late touchdown run by Davis and a crucial defensive stand sealed the win for Denver. This victory was especially significant for Elway, who, in his 15th season, finally earned a Super Bowl ring after three previous losses in the big game. The upset over the favored Packers, led by reigning MVP Brett Favre, cemented the 1998 Super Bowl as one of the most memorable and emotionally charged in NFL history.
