Surprisingly this issue is in good condition being from the "wood pulp" era. Very hard to find issues that are not totally fragile from this era in paper.
Complete with 10 pages, small library stamp within the masthead, some small binding holes along the spine, generally nice.
Note: In January 1910, French aviator Louis Paulhan made a historic flight over San Pedro Harbor during the Los Angeles International Air Meet at Dominguez Field. On January 14, he flew his Farman biplane approximately 200 feet above the Pacific Ocean, circling the hills around San Pedro Harbor, marking one of the earliest powered flights over the area .
This flight was part of the 11-day air meet held from January 10 to 20, 1910, at Dominguez Field, located on the historic Rancho San Pedro. The event was among the earliest airshows in the world and the first major airshow in the United States . Paulhan's performance captivated spectators and demonstrated the potential of aviation, contributing to the growing public interest in flight.
During the meet, Paulhan achieved several notable feats, including setting a new altitude record of 4,600 feet on January 12 . His flights over San Pedro and the surrounding areas showcased the capabilities of early aircraft and played a significant role in the advancement of aviation in the United States.
