Page 3 has: "Last Rajneesh Commune in U.S. to Close", which tells of the last commune, located in Laguna Beach, California, closing and the land being sold for other use. This controversial religious movement, inspired by the Indian mystic Osho (Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh) whose followers were often referred to as "Orange People", saw its largest U.S. following in the 1970’s and early 1980’s. Their decline hit in force after several members participated in a 1984 bio-terror attack in Oregon - it being the first and still largest verified attack of its kind in U.S. history.
Present are the Front, Business, and Sports sections, all of which are complete and in good condition. There is some natural toning at the mid-fold.
