SPOONER'S VERMONT JOURNAL, Windsor, Nov. 23, 1795
* Rare 18th century American publication
This is a quite uncommon 18th century title which rarely comes on the collector market.
The entire front page is taken up with a: "Proclamation of Louis XVIII" carrying over to page 2 where it is signed in type: Louis. Page 2 has more news from Europe including: "Crossing Of The Rhine". Inside pages has reports datelined from New York Philadelphia, Petersburg, Va.; Hartford, and Windsor, as well as two Acts of the Vermont legislature.
Four pages, never bound nor trimmed, two quite small & discrete archival mends near the margins and two very tiny holes at the central fold, in very nice condition with wide margins.
