The top of the of front page has a one column heading: "ONE MISSIONARY SLAIN, 4 CAPTIVE IN AMAZON WILDS" with subhead. (see images) This group of missionaries were trying to establish friendly contact with Auca tribe in Ecuador. This is the event which inspired the documentary "End of the Spear" and the book, "Through Gates of Splendor", by Elizabeth Elliot.
Complete with 44 pages, light toning and a little wear at the margins, generally nice.
