An uncommon title from this city which sits at the confluence of the Susquehanna River & West Branch of the Susquehanna. This is from the first year of publication.
Page 2 includes a report from the: "Legislature of Pennsylvania" noting: "The bill entied an act fopr the erection of a new county out of parts of Lycoming and Centre counties, came up on third reading...were as follows: Yeas 47; Nays 34. So it was decided in the affirmative."
This is the creation of Clinton County, Penna. - current location of Lock Haven, Renovo, Mill Hall, and Hyner Run and Hyner View State Parks. It would be formally signed into law by the governor on June 21.
Four pages, never bound nor trimmed, some light damp staining, good condition.
