SEREN GOMER (Gomer Star), Carmarthen, Wales, February, 1838. A quite uncommon magazine from Wales, totally in the Welsh language. Although commonly spoken in the 19th century, its use had diminished in the 20th century. Efforts are being made to bring it back today.
The front page headline translates: "The Spirituality Of The Bible". Attached at the back is a full page print of (translated): "Baptist Institute in Montypool, Monmouthshire".
Complete in 32 pages plus the print, disbound, 5 1/4 by 8 1/4 inches, very nice condition.
