The 1931 major league baseball season is about to end and the two teams playing in the upcoming World Series are set. Page 12 has a terrific full page pictorial showing every player eligible to play in the October classic. Players include Jimmy Foxx, Mickey Cochrane, Frankie Frisch, Eddie Collins and others. Great for display. I'm no baseball memorabilia expert but where these images used for the players' baseball cards ? However I've been going through 20th century newspapers for multiple decades now and I never seen anything like this before. Not sure what to price this at.
Complete with 16 pages, light toning at the margins, a few small binding holes along the spine, generally in very nice condition.
