Page 5 of the sport's section has a brief report under: "Around The Majors" that reads: "The New York Yankees called up shortstop Derek Jeter, their first-round pick in the June 1992 free-agent draft, from triple-A Columbus" The following page has the box scores of the game showing Jeter hitless at the plate. (see images) I suspect this to be a rare item because their was really no reason to save it at the time. Jeter was a unknown.
