The top of the front page has a four column headline: "75 SAILORS JOIN MISSISSIPPI HUNT" with subheads and related photo. (see images) This was a notable civil rights-related murder. Their bodies would be found on August 4 & 21 when white men--most members of the Ku Klux Klan including a local sheriff & his deputy--would be arrested.
Complete with 50 pages, light toning along the margins, nice condition.
