THE NEW YORK TIMES, March 26, 1960  Present are two articles (and a photo) related to Ezell Blair Jr., civil rights activist who is best known as a member (leader?) of the Greensboro Four - a group of African American college students who, on February 1, 1960, sat down at a segregated Woolworth's lunch counter in downtown Greensboro, North Carolina challenging the store's policy of denying service to non-white customers. One article begins on the front page and continues on page 10. The 2nd article is also found on page 10, and is the article which focuses specifically on Ezell, and includes a related photo.
Other news of the day and period advertising are found throughout.
