Page 3 has a small and discrete heading: "5 U. S. Missionaries Are Believed Slain" (see image) The official date of death for these missionaries is Jan. 8th.  This group of missionaries were trying to establish friendly contact with Auca tribe in Ecuador. This is the event which inspired the documentary "End of the Spear" and the book, "Through Gates of Splendor", by Elizabeth Elliot.
Complete with 56 pages, light toning and a minor wear at the margins, generally nice.
