Most of the front page is taken up with: "Further Account of the Debate in the House of Commons", much relating to the Revolutionary War, particularly in relation to the recent surrender of Burgoyne at Saratoga. The article begins: "Mr. James Luttrel made an elaborate harangue on the dangerous situation of the country, and the folly of administration in pursuing so unjust and unnatural a war...".
Pages 2 and 3 have several items relating to the Revolutionary War, with one item noting: "...a gentleman of great & authentic information called last night on Lord George Germaine to way upon his honor if he had not received information that Ticonderoga was retaken...Sir William Clinton was within a day's march of General Burgoyne when he surrendered, the 16th of October last...".
