As a result of the recent approval of the historic Missouri Compromise (March 3), the front page has: "Laws Of The Union" including: "AN ACT to authorize the people of Missouri Territory to form a Constitution and State Government, and for the admission of such State into the Union, on an equal footing with the original states, and to prohibit slavery in certain Territories", signed in type: James Monroe.
Four pages, subscriber's name penned in the masthead, nice condition.
