NEW YORK WEEKLY CAUCASIAN DAY-BOOK, Sept. 20, 1862 This was a decidedly racist newspaper. It offers a different slant on reporting compared to more traditional newspapers. The editorial Platform of Principles" is presented on page 2.
Not surprisingly much of the content has an anti-abolition slant.
