Page 3 has an article: "Capture Of A New Orleans Slaver" with a dateline from Sierra Leone. The account details the capture of the slave ship Adams Gray from New Orleans by the British ship Prometheus, noting in part:"...it appears she was not able to purchase her cargo of slaves from some cause or other...the finest prize that has ever been taken into Sierra Leone, being a beautiful model with all new sails and valuable stores."
Four pages, large folio size, slightly irregular at the spine from disbinding, good condition. Folder size noted is for the issue folded in half.
