The front page has: "The Harper's Ferry Outbreak" "Arrest of Another Alleged Insurgent" 'Public Opinion in Virginia" "The Feeling In Alabama" "Excursion To See Old Brown Hung".
A small front page item headed: "The Slave Trade--The Slave Ship Emily" and a small item at the bottom of the back page is headed: "Gone Back to Slavery" notes in part: "Three servants, lately liberated by the will of their owner...desirous of remaining under the care & protection of one of the family...made application...to be remitted accordingly....they will remain contented in their old homes with a kind master, rather than seek the benefits of Northern abolitionism."
Eight pages, a bit irregular at the blank spine, nice condition.
