The back page includes an interesting editorial, with bits including: "...The Federal fleet has been fitted out on an enormous scare & with limitless expence for the destruction of Charleston & Savannah; but arrived at the spot the fleet hesitates...Its commanders may well think twice before they lay their ironclads down to a line of batteries which grimly wait on them. They may eventually be forced to the attack; but the attack will very certainly fail..." with much more. There is also much reporting from: "The Confederate Congress" and the: "Virginia Legislature". Also some: "Telegraphic News--Battle in Louisiana--Yankees Routed".
