This was one of the more notable titles for the 18th century, and from the era of the Jacobite Rebellion with a few page 2 items relating to it.
One bit notes: "...a little before 12 at noon, the five following Rebels were drawn in two Sledges from the New Goal in Southwark, and hang'd and quarter'd at Kennington Common...Collector of excise for the young Pretender, & one of his life-guards...and one of the Pretender's Life Guards...seem'd very undaunted & Hamilton smiled several times before he was put into the Sledge,...very unconcerned, and Wood drank the Pretender's health before he went into the Sledge...The Manchester Rebels were yesterday deprived for six weeks longer...".
Four pages, 8 by 10 inches, great condition.
