Page 5 has a letter from Charleston, South Carolina, with reports concerning end-of-war issues, noting in part: "About 3 weeks since a party of Tories...who had been very active while the British forces were in possession of this state...were visited by their old neighbors, who were unfortunate enough to be of the rebel side...they were obnoxious to those whom they had plundered and burnt out of house and home...that they should depart in 20 days...The Tories giving a deaf ear to the summons, remained at home..." with more.
The back page has a letter from New York with the latest news.
