Certainly the feature of this issue is the great Maxfield Parrish front cover which shows a waiter delivering a plate with Christmas pudding. Typically this desirable cover is lacking as they were extracted from volumes over the years. Rare to find an issue with this cover intact.
Although the prints within pale in comparison, they include a full pg: "The Christmas Season in the Shopping District."; a 1/4 pg. portrait: "Madame Calve as Anita in 'La Navarraise'."; full pg: "Buying Christmas Presents." 2/3 pg. illus: "Maternity."; full pg: "Je Vous Salue, Marie (Hail Mary)."; doublepage centerfold: "An Unwelcome Toast."; 2/3 pg: "An Assisted Emigrant."; half pg: "Too Late! - A Danger of Moose Hunting."
The complete issue never bound nor trimmed, a bit of toning at the margins of the corner, very nice condition.
