October 31, 1864

A large Civil War "Muster Roll Of Company C, of the 202nd Regiment of Penna. Vol. From the Third day of September 1864, to the 31st day of October, 1864" at the Haymarket, Va. station, dated October 31st, 1864.
This unit was under the command of Col. Charles Albright (1830-1880) who had fought at the battle of Gettysburg. After the war he would be the prosecution's lead attorney in the trial of the Molly Maguire in Mauch Chunk, Pa.
A list of 59 names is included with various details concerning the soldiers' status and pay.
The document folds out to 21 by 31 inches, a bit of light damp staining, generally in very nice condition.
