THE OLD WHIG, OR THE CONSISTENT PROTESTANT, London, April 21, 1736 This is a very rare title, publishing for only 4 years with various news reports from Europe. There is a brief item on the back page noting: "...advice by a letter from South Carolina of the death of the Rev. Mr. John Fullerton, lately missionary at Christ Church: he died very much lamented not only by his parishioners but by all who had the pleasure of his acquaintance...".
Four pages, full red tax stamp on the front page, wide, never-trimmed margins, great condition.
