This article was in anticipation of what is considered the first world title international boxing match held on April 17, 1860 between Tom Sayers & John Heenan, lasting 37 rounds and 2 hours 27 minutes, in a bare-knuckle match at Farnborough, England. It was called a draw. Heenan was later acclaimed as the "World Boxing Champion."Sixteen pages, 11 by 15 1/4 inches, a sporting-themed engraving in the masthead, great condition.
