THE LONDON CHRONICLE, England, Sept. 27, 1764  The back page includes: "...published in the South Carolina Gazette it appears that the whole number of French setters at New Orleans and its environs, including the garrison, negroes, etc. does not exceed 1900 souls; so vastly has the late formidable power of that nation dwindled in America since the accession of all the northern parts of that vast continent to the crown of Great Britain...".
Eight pages, 8 1/4 by 11 1/4 inches, nice condition.
