Page 6 has a report headed: "America" with a Charleston dateline. It notes in part: "The Assembly of Georgia...voted a sum of money to defray the expenses of bringing the remains of Mr. Whitefield from New-England to be deposited at the Orphan house, agreeable to his desire...".
This was the famous Rev. George Whitfield, an Anglican cleric and evangelist who was one of the founders of Methodism and the evangelical movement.
Also a bit concerning a vessel charged with piracy.
Eight pages, 8 1/2 by 11 1/4 inches, nice condition.
