DAILY NATIONAL INTELLIGENCER, Washington, D.C., Oct. 6, 1852 Page 3 has a report headed: "California Intelligence" which takes half a column of various news. A few bits include a report concerning a slave under the Fugitive Slave Law; also: "...A lump weighing 25 lbs. & valued at from $4,000 to $6,000 was recently taken...SA few days previous a thousand dollars lump was found near the same spot..." as well as other mining successes.
Four pages, very nice condition.
