Inside pages has some reports on the French & Indian War headed: "Plantation News - Boston in New-England" with: "We learn...that Col. Monckton, with a number of men, was going up St. John's river by which, it's hoped, the French will be entirely routed from Nova Scotia...Capt. Rous...was going to destroy the French settlements in Newfoundland...".
A report datelined from Charleston notes: "The Cherokees, Chickasaws, and Creeks with our other neighbour Indians, continue our good friends and have often been out to war for us with some success...".
Another report mentions the new Spanish governor of St. Augustine switched allegiances from the French to the British.
