FRANK LESLIE'S ILLUSTRATED, New York, Jan. 11, 1862 Perhaps the prime interest is the nice illustration of the "Facsimile of a Treasury Note, Lately Issued by the Confederate Government, Richmond, Va.".
The front page shows: "Exhibition of National Prisoners in the Hospital at Richmond".
Other prints within: "Battle of Dranesville, Va." which was once a single, long print but is now in 3 portions the way the issue was trimmed; "The Great Southern Expedition...Gen. Stevens's Brigade Into Beaufort, S.C..." and a doublepage with 6 scenes from: "Camp Graham".
Sixteen pages, good condition.
