FRANK LESLIE'S ILLUSTRATED, New York, July 17, 1869 The front page has a nice print captioned: "Fourth of July at the Country Home".
The prime print is the full page captioned: "The Picked Nine of the Cincinnati (Red Stockings) Base-Ball Club, of Cincinnati, Ohio" which has prints of ten players (one a substitute) and which includes a detailed article: "The Cincinnati Baseball Club".
Among other prints within are small prints of "Scene Near Cooper's Creek, Central Australia" "View of Ngatapa Pa, New Zealand" & "The Assault of Nu Rumara Pa, New Zealand".
Also: "A Cuban Expedition Thwarted by the Authorities..."; a full page print of the Fourth of July celebration at City Hall, New York; "The Colossal Equestrian State of George Washington...Boston, Mass."
Sixteen pages, lightly toned, nice condition.
