A nice & very rare newspaper from this town in Western Colorado along the Colorado River. Although Gregory (Union List of American Newspapers) records a "Grand Junction Star" there is no record of "the Semi-Weekly Star".
The front page has nice reporting on the Klondike Gold Rush with heads: "KLONDYKES NEAR HOME" "Unaweep Comes to the Front With Ore Running $88 in gold, $30 Silver and 70 per cent in Copper" "Bound to Create An Immense Book". Other mining reports & news of the day as well.
Four pages, archivally rejoined at the blank spine, nice condition.
