Page 3 is taken up with ads, one of which is for the: "Pig of Knowledge" offering an exhibition of his talents, which include: "He reads print or writing, spells, tells the time of day...distinguishes colors, how many persons there are present..." and more. Admission is 25 cents.
This was one of several "learned pigs" through the years, perhaps being the most famous from the 18th century. There is a nice item on the web concerning Pinchbeck's "pig of knowledge".
Four pages, some damp staining, good condition.
