Item # 683608 THE MASSACHUSETTS MAGAZINE, Boston, December, 1793  Articles within include: "On the Inhabitants of Prince William's Sound" which takes nearly 3 pages; "Account of the Island of Magindanoa" [Maguindanao] which is near Indonesia; "The Female Warrior" & much more.
Near the back is the "Monthly Gazette" with news reports including much on the French Revolution, plus: "Domestick Occurrences" which includes headings such as: "Southern Indians" "Duel" "Northern Indians" "Western Army" and more.
The plate called for is lacking.
Complete in 64 pages, wide, never-trimmed margins, 6 by 9 1/4 inches, very nice, clean condition.

Eighteenth century American magazines are increasingly scarce in today's market. This title was published by the famed Isaiah Thomas, the patriot printer from the Revolutionary War & founder of the American Antiquarian Society.
