Page 2 has a very historic report headed: "Inauguration Day at Washington" which is primarily taken up with the: "Inaugural Address of President Lincoln". It contains near the end the famous phrase: "...With malice towards none, with charity for all, with firmness in the right, as God gives us to see the right, let us strive on to finish the work we are in, to bind up the nation's wounds...".
Included as well is an editorial on: "The Inaugural Address" which takes over half a column.
