A two issue set, the back page of each having a report on the last train robbery of the Jesse James Gang: robbery of the Alton train at Bluecut, Missouri.
Sept. 9 has: "At The Mercy of Masked Men" "A Bold Train Robbery Near Independence, Missouri". Sept. 10 has: "Hunting the Train Robbers" "All the Searching Parties Unsuccessful--Arrests on Suspicion" with various details as seen in the photos.
Each complete in 8 pages, cleanly cut at the spine, various tears at margins, quite fragile & should be handled carefully.
