ARMY & NAVY OFFICIAL GAZETTE, Washington, D.C., Dec 15, 1863 As would be suspected, filled with official intelligence regarding the military, with a wealth of Civil War content. Included are: "Peace with the Indians in Utah" "School of the Soldier - Aiming & Firing As Skirmisher Sitting" "Deserters from Regiments Mustered Out of Service"
There is also a document signed: Abraham Lincoln headed: "Protection of U.S. Troops", and another with his "Proclamation" suspending the writ of Habeas Corpus, also signed: Abraham Lincoln. Yet a third "Proclamation" calling for more troops, signed: Abraham Lincoln, and then a fourth offering pardon to deserters, signed: Abraham Lincoln.
Sixteen pages, 9 by 12 inches, good condition.
