* Lewis and Clark Expedition

Page 7 has a nice report concerning the Lewis & Clark Expedition noting their safe return, with some accounting of their experiences.
It is prefaced with: "The National Intelligencer announces the arrival of the captains Lewis and Clarke, with their exploring party, at St. Louis, having lost but one man. They also bring with them the great Mandan chief, who is on a visit to Washington."
What follows is a report responding to the inquiry: "Do you learn any particulars of their expedition?", offering much detail (see the photos).
Eight pages, 9 1/2 by 12 inches, various light foxing, generally good condition.
Category: Pre-Civil War
