Item # 680474
November 09, 1898
THE EVENING TRIBUNE, San Diego, Nov. 9, 1898
* Theodore Roosevelt elected governor of New York
The top of the front page has a one column heading: "Roosevelt Is Elected" "Governor of New York..." and more with small illustration of Roosevelt. (see) Surprisingly this issue is in good condition being from the "wood pulp" era. Very hard to find issues that are not totally fragile from this era in paper.
Complete with 4 pages, 23 x 19 1/2 inches, a few small library stamps within the masthead, a few small binding holes along the spine, generally nice.
