THE LONDON CHRONICLE, England, Aug. 18, 1770 The full front page & nearly half of page 2 are taken up with: "An Account of the Manner in Which the Original Inhabitants of America Conduct their Wars, & of the Barbarous Treatment of Their Prisoners".
Page 6 has half a column headed: "America" with reports from New York, New London, and Boston, including a report on a ship's captain demanding the taking of runaway slaves, and also a report of the death of James Parker, colonial printer of the first newspaper in Connecticut, the Connecticut Gazette, as well as the New York Weekly Post-Boy.
Eight pages, 8 1/2 by 11 14 inches, very nice condition.
