"A Clockwork Orange" opening movie review and ad...

Item # 679489

December 30, 1971

THE VILLAGE VOICE, New York, Dec. 30, 1971  As most might be aware "The Village Voice" was an American news and culture paper, known for being the country's first alternative newsweekly. It introduced free-form, high-spirited, and passionate journalism into the public discourse a tradition it maintained throughout its 60+ year history.
Page 54 has the reprinted review from the New York Times for this publication on the premiere of the famous Stanley Kubrick movie, "A Clockwork Orange" Also a advertisement for the film is on the same page.
Complete in 72 pages, a fold at the center, red-inked stamp on the ftpg: "For Xerox Only - Please Return To Front Desk", generally very nice.

Provenance note: This issue comes from The Village Voice's own archives, part of their in-house collection used to create their digital archive.
Alert: Many issues of The Village Voice contain articles and/or photos which some consider offensive, and are certainly inappropriate for children. Please purchase with discretion.
